London’s Brick Lane Sunday Market Street Food
Brick Lane is known for its Indian or more accurately Bangladeshi Restaurants. However, on a Sunday thousands of mainly Londoners and some tourists congregate on Brick Lane to feast on street food. Others come for the vintage shops, music stores, clothing and accessories stalls, street performances and perhaps to just hang out taking in the excitable and bohemian atmosphere.
This is the second time in three weeks I have been here on a Sunday afternoon. The first time, I was completely taken in by the London Black Cab Coffee.
In my basket:
The Burmese stall was my go to place this time. As it was happy hour my bill was reduced from £5.00 to £4.00 and an offer to load my plate with a little bit of everything on show was made, which I gladly took! My friend had an Ethiopian dish at the Yemama Gojjo Ethiopian Vegetarian stall.
