SALADU AWOOKA ÀK MANGO
Tropical Africa is blessed with a large variety of fruits. Saladu Awooka Àk Mango is a Senegalese fruit salad I absolutely love serving as a first course at lunchoens or in place of a course of fruit at dessert. For a first course I’d recommend juicing the Saladu Awooka Àk Mango with citrus either lime or orange whereas if served as dessert then it should be enjoyed sweetened and more highly flavoured. Saladu Awooka Àk Mango comes with benefits as fruit salad as an appetizer, main dish, salad course, or dessert, will provide you with plenty of vitamins.
This is very basic Saladu Awooka Àk Mango. You can of course give it your own twist. Over at Saveur.com, their version calls for 1⁄2 cup finely chopped parsley, 1⁄4 cup peanut or canola oil, 1 jalapeño, stemmed, seeded, and minced, Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste. This is all in addition to the main ingredients of avocado and mango.
This version has in addition to avocado and mango a couple of tablespoons of fresh orange juice and a sprinkling of ground black pepper.
