Mango lassi is a popular, traditional, yogurt-based refreshing drink from the Indian Subcontinent. In this recipe spices such as cardamon seeds and ginger are added.
1 large mango
11/2 cup of natural yoghurt
1 teaspoon ginger juice
1 teaspoon cardamon
10 ice cubes
Sugar to taste
1Peel the mango fruit
2Squeeze out a teaspoon of ginger juice from a grated piece of ginger
3Remove cardamon seeds from pod
4Put the peeled chopped mango, ginger juice, yoghurt, cardamon seeds, sugar and ice cubes into a blender and blend until smooth or to preferred level of consistency.
