MyWeku Restaurant: The making of the rock garden

Rock gardens are not common in Ghana and the few I have seen are underwhelming. The theme for the landscaping for MyWeku restaurant is definitely tropical cum jungle, however, we have toyed with the idea of including a rock garden in the plans. This week Dad completed designing and building the rock garden. Succulents including cacti are the choice of plants in the garden and the rocks came from salvaged rocks on site.
The stones range in sizes to give the garden a naturalistic look and feel. As you can see from the photos the plants (succulents) are quite spread out to allow each space to grow out.
We anticipate this will, when fully established, become the centre piece of the garden.

Do u people out there feel d same way has I do ? Well let me explain one good thing about travelling around the world is experience new things one particular one is new taste of food u never thought existed until now. What if u can walk into a restaurant and eat any food in the world how amazing will that be. I hope u understand people that live in Africa eat d same African food every day so they do not see the big deal in African food but take jolof rice or redrare to Japan they love it becauce the are not use to eating that kind of food the same for Africans introduce Japan food to Africa or indian food and they love it because its some thing new dat they have not tasted before. My best advice to a person wanting to open a restaurant is think like the traveler seeking new tastes and combinations for your customers the more u get the more customers will come thanks God bless all of u bye
